• What does Dr. Lam specialize in?

  Dr. Lam performs the full gamut of hair restoration both surgical and non-surgical. He works on both men and women and multiple ethnicities including African, Asian, Middle Eastern, and Hispanic. He performs both FUE and FUT procedures, combined FUE/FUT, and beard FUE. He performs all critical-to-quality steps entirely himself including consultation, advice on medical therapy, hairline design, donor planning, FUE and FUT harvesting/closure, recipient site design, and supervision of his team who are with him full time.

• What are Dr. Lam’s credentials?

  Dr. Lam has been in practice over 20 years and maintains three board certifications: American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (of which he is on the board of directors and an examiner), American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (of which he was president in 2021), and the American Board of Head & Neck Surgery. He maintains an active certification in all three boards. He is also the recipient of the 2022 Golden Follicle Award by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, the highest honor in the hair industry. He is the author of 12 major textbooks with 9 textbooks on hair surgery including his latest book Hair Transplant 101 (QMP, 2023) and the only major textbook on FUE (Jaypee Brothers, 2022) along with over 250 book chapters and scientific articles. He is a respected lecturer and has lectured throughout the world including South America, Asia, and Europe.

• What are your business hours?

  The office is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30 am to 4 pm on Fridays being closed for lunch between 11:30 am to 12:30 pm Mondays through Fridays.

• What procedures does Dr. Lam perform?

  Dr. Lam performs advanced hair transplant surgery (for men and women, both FUE and FUT, combined FUE/FUT, beard FUE), eyebrow transplants, scar corrections, corrective/revision transplants, female hairline lowering, etc. As mentioned, Dr. Lam performs all of his own FUE/FUT harvesting, design, execution, recipient site design, hairline design, etc.

• Where are Dr. Lam’s procedures performed?

  Dr. Lam has an on-site Joint Commission accredited surgical facility where he performs all of his hair procedures.

• What non-surgical therapies for hair loss does Dr. Lam offer?
