I just saw a patient about an hour ago, who had eight prior hair transplants all of which were pretty much disastrous. Leaving big scars in the back, look leaving at a result that was less than desirable and he told me that with a single transplant that I did, I got a better result than all his previous eight procedures, not to mention the fact that day of the procedure was painless and the fact that his recovery was easy and painless as well. And he told me a story that I’d said I’m gonna do a podcast on that. He said if you heard the joke about the big company that comes to town and charges $19.95 for a haircut, and one of the clients of this small barbershop asked him. you know, what are you going to do with the $19.95 haircut? And he said, I’m not worried. I’m going to fix those $19.95 haircuts. Well, in essence, that’s what I’m seeing now, large chains are coming to town offering cheap hair transplants per graft cost, you know, the surgeons are not even doing the procedure, technicians are doing it, total a joke in terms of the results. And I’ve actually hired some people from these outfits. The several, I won’t mention their names, but I will tell you that the results that I’m getting today are so different from what you’re getting at those chain outfit. So, what am I going to do when I have these $19.95 haircuts coming through to me? I’m going to try to fix them, not worried about the low cost that’s coming through to me. Well, I’ll tell you the truth. A lot of them I can’t fix. I’ve seen two to three times a week. People coming in with completely obliterated over harvested FUE, it is just destroyed. There’s nothing left on the backside for me to fix and people are always worried about scarring. Actually. I should do podcast on that, which I will. But it is something that is really a disaster. And this is why the $19.95 haircut is great because your hair is going to go back out afterwards. When you harvested, you destroy the back of the scalp. It’s not going to happen.
