If you are in Dallas and have time to explore, then there are a few attractions that Dallas is known for. For more things to do currently in the DFW area, you should visit

Here are some highlights that may help you:

Museum/Arts District

Dallas has one of the finest arts districts in the world that include the Winspear Opera House, the Myerson Symphony Hall, the Wylie Theatre, the Perot Museum, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Trammell Crow Museum of Asian Artand the Nasher Sculpture Garden. The Fort Worth museum district is spectacular as well featuring the Modern and the Kimbell.

Fort Worth Stockyards

Although this is an hour to 90 minute drive away, this is quintessentially Texas. The old brick streets and everyone wearing cowboy hats can be an incredible site.

The Sixth Floor Museum

AT&T Cowboys Stadium

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

Unique, large, and beautiful with several cafes and restaurants right on the park grounds; their parking garage is situated across the street with a connecting tunnel for patrons or there is open parking right near the entrance to the park.

Dallas World Aquarium

Open daily 9 am to 5 pm
